SMTP stands for Simple Mail Transfer Protocol. You need to configure the mail program using the SMTP server IP address to send email. If you know the SMTP server name then you can easily get the SMTP server IP address by following the below steps:-
1.Click the "Start" menu, type "Run" Press Enter then type "cmd" Press Enter (type without the quotes).
2.A command prompt will open in a new window.
3.Type ping space smtp server name. For example "ping mail.servername.com" and press "Enter". This command tries to contact the SMTP server through the IP address.
Pinging mail.servername.com [x.x.x.x] with 32 bytes of data:
"x.x.x.x" will be the IP address of your SMTP server. Use this IP address as your outgoing mail server when configuring the email program.
SMTP feature is supported with all our hosting plans. Please take a look at our email hosting and cPanel hosting plans.
SMTP IP provides a set of codes that simplifies the communication of email messages between email servers (network computers that handle incoming and outgoing email to you).
It is a type of shorthand that allows one server to break down different parts of a message into categories that the other server can understand.
When you send a message, it turns into strings of text that are separated by code words (or numbers) that identify the purpose of each section.
SMTP IP provides those codes, and email server software is designed to understand what they mean. As each message heads towards its destination, it sometimes passes through multiple computers as well as their individual MTAs. As this happens, it is briefly stored before moving on to the next computer in the path. Think of it as a letter going from different hands as it goes to the right mailbox.
SMTP IP is the basic standard used by mail servers to send emails to each other over the Internet. SMTP IP is also used by applications such as Apple Mail or Outlook to upload emails to mail servers which then relay them to other mail servers.
Like other internet services such as websites, SMTP email relies on a domain name and internet address to know where to send the message. Today we are all familiar with the text versions of these addresses like www.migomail.com. Most of us know that text address stands for a numeric IP address like 107.21.246.67.
If you have subscribed to the services of a hosted email relay, you can obtain the SMTP server hostname and port number from your email services support page.
If you run your own SMTP IP server you can find the configured SMTP IP port number and address from the SMTP IP server configuration. In PowerMTA you can find that information from the "smtp-ip listener" directive configured within the configuration file. The configuration file can be found in /etc/pmta/config on Linux servers and C:\pmta\config.dat on Windows servers.
SMTP IP ports 25, 465, 587, or 2525 have been considered the standard SMTP port for SMTP at some point, but only 587 or 2525 should be considered for modern usage. If you are configuring your system to use Migomail as an SMTP IP relay, you should use port 587 as your standard SMTP IP port, as an alternative if port 587 is not available in 2525.
There are two options to explore when it comes to setting up a Migomail SMTP IP server. You can subscribe to a hosted email relay service.
Migomail is a leading provider of email delivery and analytics service. Alternatively, you can setup your own "on-premises" SMTP IP server for more sophisticated control. One example is PowerMTA.
To install PowerMTA Server, contact support@port25.com for installation packages, licenses and installation instructions. All PowerMTA configuration is done within the configuration file which is found in /etc/pmta/config on Linux servers and C:\pmta\config.dat on Windows servers.
SMTP IP Port 25 is blocked on many networks to prevent the amount of spam sent from compromised computers or servers. Unless you are specifically managing the mail server, there should be no traffic crossing this port on your computer or server.
To check if port 25 is blocked by an ISP:
If you are using Windows, open your command prompt. If you're using a Mac, open your Terminal. And, if you are using Linux, open your terminal emulator.
Type the following command: telnet examplemailserver.com 25

I have been using SMTP Service for a long time and the quality is great. Available support, quick response, no problems with Service. I'm going to recommend it to my colleagues.
I am using Nexhost since 2016. We used this service as we needed a website for our shop and are using it now. The interface is pretty simple and price is nice.
I've been through three or four hosts and Nexahost hosting is by far the best. I've got a shared and a vps account hosted. My primary metric is support.
